Grant Activity:
Less pain in the back: how new approaches can improve care for low back pain
Purpose:
Low back pain causes more disability than any other health condition. Low back pain directly impacts a person’s ability to perform simple daily activities, such as lifting objects, bending and even working. Many treatments currently offered to patients with low back pain may be causing more harm than benefit. The project will improve access to high quality LBP care and will provide knowledge on the safety and efficacy of LBP treatments such as surgery.
