Purpose:
The severe form of fatty liver disease steatohepatitis affects ~40 million people worldwide and has no approved treatment. This project aims to identify new drugs and test them in mouse models to establish proof-of-concept that they safely reverse steatohepatitis. Success of this project will generate new drug candidates for human clinical testing.
