Purpose:
The ABC will commence audio description (AD) of selected programming from 1 July 2020 across its broadcast TV channels, in line with content feasibility and suitability. The ABC also plans to bring AD services onto iview, its video–on–demand and streaming platform, during the project period. The ABC will deliver 728 hours of AD in 2020–21 and 800 hours of AD in 2021–22.
