Purpose:
To develop a customised 10 week DRUMBEAT program for the younger veteran community and a customised two day DRUMBEAT facilitator training package for people working with younger veteran groups. The DRUMBEAT program uses rhythm, psychology and neurobiology to achieve improvements in resilience, mental wellbeing, psychological stress, PTSD symptoms and dysfunctional behaviours. When this process is complete, three pilot programs will be conducted to test and review the modified program.
