Purpose:
This project involves the procurement of high precision automated plant to enhance Mayfield Industries' existing sheet metal fabrication operation. The resulting new workflows will drive manufacturing productivity, reduce cost and lead-times allowing the company to be more competitive. It is the intention that this project will enable Mayfield to bring 100% of off-shore production of Moducell switchboards (a Mayfield intellectual property) back to Australia. This re-focus on local manufacture will lead to an increase in jobs and upskilling of the workforce in the new technologies.
