Purpose:
Well-designed clinical trials including translational research are critical for real advances in healthcare. The proposed research involves major clinical trials evaluating new treatments and strategies in cancer, cardiovascular disease and perinatal medicine; novel methods for better trials; and integrating evidence for better decision-making in healthcare. The aim is to integrate clinical research into routine care and use translational science to optimise treatment for individual patients.
