Purpose:
Project Scope:
To replace old HID/ Vapour bulb lighting technology, which was energy inefficient with current technology high power, low wattage LED sports flood lighting, in the Southside Pony Club Inc. Sand Riding Arena. This will benefit the members, community and horses to ride and hold events during the night out of the direct harsh sun and heat.
Currently is not possible using the existing infrastructure as it does not meet legal lighting requirements. The installation of the LED flood lighting will benefit our club by saving on power bills as it is energy efficient and provide the necessary safety lighting standards for our members and community.
Key Activities:
1. Licensed Electrical Tradesperson to remove outdated HID/ Vapour bulb lighting technology from the power poles
2. Trench for upgraded underground cabling to power LED lights
3. Purchase of LED sports flood lighting components, to technical specifications provided by Lighting Consultant
4. Installation of LED sports flood lighting components, switching, and associated electrical components by a Licensed Electrical Tradesperson.
