Peel Pathways Project
Purpose:
This Peel Pathways Project is a multidimensional engagement program by Dismantle aimed at delivering the skills, knowledge and behaviours required for successful work readiness of at–risk young people. Involving the mentoring and development of work readiness skills with sixty 16–21 year old jobseekers throughout the Peel region, the project uses a combination of BikeRescue (a 10–week youth mentoring, engagement and development program) and a 10–week Workplace Development Program (WDP), with workplace–based opportunities through Dismantle's social enterprise ReNew Property Maintenance, to provide a diverse and highly transferable range of personal skills, practical skills and employment pathways.
