Purpose:
The purpose of the grant is to provide Year 11 and 12 students with an opportunity to learn about Civil Construction Industry Vocational Education Training (VET) pathways and for students to experience two days of hands-on practical activities with Civil Construction Industry Professionals. The grant will directly support industry needs and address the skills shortages in the Civil Construction industry sectors by providing an opportunity for three (3) groups of a minimum of fifteen (15) and a maximum of twenty (20) students to learn about vocational pathways and employment opportunities within the sector, on completion of their education in the SA4 Armadale region, Western Australia.
