Purpose:
This project will provide a combination of on-the-job training and classroom training for job seekers via units from the Certificate III in Horticulture, and a non-accredited Unit - 'Job Readiness and Establishing a Social Enterprise/Small Business'. The on-the-job training will incorporate beginning to set up an Agrifood Social Enterprise which aims to make the project sustainable in the longer term. This will benefit the region by building both demand and supply for locally produced food.
