Refrigerator Refurbish
Purpose:
To replace existing/aging refrigerators and Freezers that are basically domestic appliances with commercial grade more energy efficient Fridges and freezes. Our project will look at replacing 2 x Chest and 1 x upright freezers with 1–2 larger commercial grade freezers, plus 2 x single door Fridges with a larger three door commercial fridge. The growth of our club has seen us add stop gap domestic grade Fridges and Freezers. To be able to replace 5 aging smaller units with 3 units that will be higher rated energy efficient will hopefully enable us to continue to service our community with a reduce energy consumption.
Depending on if we are successful in obtaining this grant we estimate it take u 4/6 weeks to purchase and install the new fridge and freezers, depending on if there are any COVID restrictions, we would hope to start the program in November 21 and have it completed by the latest 15 Dec 21.
