Purpose:
Development of the exhibtion New Exuberance: Contemporary Australian Textile/Fabric Designs. This exhibition will have between 16-20 exhibitors and tour 13-15 venues nationally. The grant will assist in research and associated travel costs for the curator to meet with prospective exhibitors and select possible works. The grant will fund research and framing of the selected exhibitors in terms of the national curriculum - research to form the basis of the education kit, selection of writers and design concepts for the exhibition publication, design and prototyping of exhibition display systems to help prepare a realistic and informed budget for a touring grant.
