Purpose:
A grant has been awarded to boost the efforts of schools and pre–schools, community organisations and local councils to address crime and anti–social behaviour by funding crime prevention initiatives that benefit the wider community. The grant is expected to fund the installation of 12 CCTV cameras, 15 security lights, 19 bollards, fencing, one security and alarm system, one public address system and engagement of security guards. The expected outcome of the project is to address crime and anti–social behaviour, protecting children at risk of attack, harassment or violence stemming from racial or religious intolerance.
