Australian CIDP National Registry: Dissecting Phenotypes and Immunoglobulin Usage Requirements
Purpose:
Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP) is an autoimmune neuropathy producing severe disability and representing the second most common indication for the use of immunoglobulin treatment in Australia. Despite this, there remains a lack of markers to identify treatment response and disease activity, which are clearly necessary to target treatment to appropriate patients and important to improve efficient use of immunoglobulin in Australia.
