Purpose:
Narrows Escape Rainforest Retreat is an Eco resort, and we hold Advanced Eco Certification. We intend to replace all our existing Air–Conditioning Units in the villas to become the most energy efficient units available, upgrade all the refrigerators on the property to be the most energy efficient models and upgrade our outdoor lighting to be sensor operated. These measures will all decrease the energy usage of the property. We have recently installed solar panels and it is our hope that by reducing our energy consumption with these measures, we will be closer to achieving our goal of being sustainably powered.
