Purpose:
The purpose of the Grant is to provide students with skills and connections to future Vocational Education and Training (VET) pathways for employment opportunities into the Bricklaying, Plastering, Tiling and Painting occupations from the Construction industry sectors on completion of their education in the Shepparton, Victoria region. The Grant will directly support industry needs and address the skills shortages in the Construction industry sectors by providing training in a skill set of one (1) nationally accredited unit of competency and unaccredited training and skills to a maximum of eighteen (18) Year 11 & 12 students from nine (9) schools in the Campaspe and Moira Shires, Victoria.
