Hot Water Solar Pre–heat
Purpose:
This project delivers an installed and commissioned solar hot water pre–heat system to the hotels hot water service for guest bathrooms and public areas. The solar pre–heat system comprises of approximately 27 solar collectors that pre–heat incoming cold water for storage in approximately 3 new stainless steel hot water storage tanks. This pre–heated water is then supplied to the existing hot water system. The projects key activities include supply and installation of the 27 solar collectors, 3 x stainless steel storage tanks and associated plumbing and pipework to return the water into the existing hot water system. The project is expected to deliver a significant reduction in energy consumption on daily hot water heating.
