Grant Activity:
Pragmatic cluster randomised trials: Bridging the gap between theory and practice
Purpose:
Cluster crossover and stepped wedge designs have emerged recently as study designs used in clinical and public health research settings. However, despite recent methodological advances in their design and statistical analysis there remain substantial practical issues with their implementation in real-world trials. Resolving these issues will enable real-world, valid and efficient trials to inform evidence-based changes in healthcare practice and policy.
