A recently identified calcium channel provides diverse opportunities for pharmacotherapy in breast cancer
Purpose:
High levels of specific proteins aberrantly expressed in cancer can be targeted to develop cancer treatments. This project builds upon our observation that a specific protein is at much higher levels in breast cancer than normal tissue, and when inhibited can augment particular cancer therapies resulting in better treatment outcomes.
