Grant Activity:
The T cell genome in 3D: understanding chromatin dynamics during T cell responses to virus infection
Purpose:
The programming of effective killer T cell immunity is associated with changes in the genomic structure that ensure acquisition of the specific functions necessary for control of infection and cancer. This study will examine what drives these changes within virus-specific T cells and assess how this is linked to induction of optimal immune responses. This knowledge will contribute to new advances in the development of novel immunotherapy strategies for infection, cancer and autoimmune disease.
