Grant Activity:
Exposures of mobile phone radiofrequency electromagnetic energy in juveniles: effects on brain development and behaviours
Purpose:
Mobile communications have enormous social and economic benefits, but the potential health consequences of exposure to radiofrequency electromagnetic energy (RF-EME) has raised concern worldwide. Exposure of children to RF-EME is increasingly prevalent; however its consequences in behaviour in and brain development are largely unknown. This research will provide critical evidence to inform guidelines and public health policies in Australia and worldwide concerning RF-EME exposure in children.
