Purpose:
Inherited cardiomyopathies can have important health implications, often presenting in younger patients and conferring a risk of heart failure and sudden cardiac death. There are many aspects of care that are not well understood. The inherited cardiomyopathy cohort study will allow important research questions to be answered which will form a basis for disease-specific guidelines documents. The ultimate goal is to provide improved management and care to families with inherited cardiomyopathies.
