Science Play Matters!
Purpose:
Play Matters Australia (PMA) delivers and supports hundreds of play experiences and playgroups. To celebrate National Science Week PMA will deliver three National Science Week events, engaging families and communities, with events focused on engaging Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) and Aboriginal families. The events will feature interactive science activities and help inspire interest in science pursuits, encouraging children to become fascinated by the world we live in. Additionally, we will produce a digital Science Play Matters activity kit and distribute this to over 10,000 families. Physical activity kits will be distributed at events and a digital version will be shared with our playgroup network to help inspire wide community participation in STEM.
