Calperum Connect: Step–up 2 Employment
Purpose:
Step–up 2 Employment is a program that will provide a blend of workplace skills, confidence and motivation for people who are struggling to find and maintain employment in the region. Based at Calperum Station in the Riverland, Step–Up 2 Employment will provide training and mentoring in a real life working environment with a strong focus on teamwork, productivity and quality outputs. Participants job readiness will be supported with qualifications such as Chemcert, Whitecard, WHS and First Aid. Coaching in areas such as taking personal accountability, self–achievement and networking will allow participants to work through past barriers and become more confident and motivated and engaged. The result will see a pool of motivated and enthusiastic job–seekers, ready to step–up and successfully participate in the regions workforce.
