A Randomised Controlled Trial to Assess if the Implementation of an Artificial Intelligence Mammogram Reader Improves Breast Cancer Screening
Purpose:
One million women annually are screened for breast cancer. Early detection reduces the risk of dying however mammographic interpretation is challenging. The project will provide implementation evidence of the effectiveness of an AI mammogram reader in breast cancer screening to improve accuracy and experience. Ultimately this can enable a more effective and personalised BreastScreen service to women.
