FaR-RMS: Frontline And Relapse study in RhabdoMyoSarcoma
Purpose:
Patients diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS) are treated with chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery, but many do not survive. Our U.K. and European colleagues have developed a new trial, the FaR-RMS study, which includes optimising current treatments, as well as testing the latest promising agents. This study is designed to answer a number of questions within the one trial, and new drugs can be rapidly added. Opening this trial in Australia gives new hope to all patients battling RMS.
