Grant Activity:
Improving outcomes of children and young adults with primary ciliary dyskinesia: a multi-centre, double-blind, double-dummy, 2x2 factorial, randomised controlled trial (RCT)
Purpose:

We (researchers and consumers) plan to undertake a study that looks at two therapies for children/young adults with primary ciliary dyskinesia (PCD). Our study addresses several unmet needs as all current therapies are unproven. Our goal is to improve the outcomes of children/young adults with PCD by using these treatments and improving the diagnosis. One of these is novel and the other commonly used by some doctors (but untested).
