Purpose:
The purpose of the Grant is for AUSVEG to undertake a study tour to the United Kingdom and Europe to investigate food safety and farm sustainability practices from farm to retailer. The study scope is to include: farm sustainability activities (social, environmental, and economic sustainability with issues such as food security and vegetable consumption), value-adding and waste utilisation, food labelling and packaging, and marketing trends.
