Purpose:
The iconic Curiosity Show team of Dr Deane Hutton & Dr Rob Morrison join forces with the Victorian Youth Symphony Orchestra (VYSO) and their conductor Dr Ingrid Martin for an interactive 60 minute music and science extravaganza. SOUNDS A LOT LIKE SCIENCE is a 60–90 minute education performance which incorporates the science of sound and instruments, alongside live musical performance by individuals, sections and 70 piece symphony orchestra. Hosted in the iconic Main Hall of the Melbourne Museum, two interactive performances will be held during National Science Week and recorded for future broadcast.
