Purpose:
Through this project, Incitec Pivot Limited will invest into a new processing technology to extend the life of Australia's only DAP/MAP fertiliser manufacturing facility located at Phosphate Hill, QLD by an additional 20 years. This new technology will facilitate the processing of higher oxide impurity levels making it possible to utilise lower quality mine deposits not currently feasible. This new processing technology will secure the domestic supply of DAP/MAP fertilisers until 2050 and will generate and secure up to 500 jobs.
