Purpose:
Cerebral Palsy (CP) is a life-long condition that affects movement and learning due to early brain injury. Recent research has reduced the number of infants being born with CP by 30 percent and now 70 percent of children will now walk. Our CP Synergy Network will develop new early tests to detect CP, treatments to prevent CP and repair and rehabilitate those with early brain injury that leads to Cerebral Palsy guided by a national consumer network and a diverse multidisciplinary clinical team.
