Purpose:
Westcoast Renewable Energy Pty Ltd will conduct a series of feasibility studies for the proposed Whaleback Ridge Renewable Energy Project. This 3GW renewable energy project consists of more than 400 wind turbine generators in Tasmanias central western region. The studies will explore the technical challenges, required infrastructure, and the economic, environmental and social impacts of the wind farm which is connected to the grid and coupled with a production, transportation, use and export of green hydrogen at the development.
