Purpose:
If successful in our grant application, we propose to replace 12 individual Guest room air conditioning units from the current NON inverter models (9 year old) to NEW, more energy efficient, INVERTER split system units – Proposed units Mitsubishi 3.5 KW with 3.5 STAR energy efficient rating.
The replacement of these units within the Guest rooms will help us lower our energy consumption as the proposed units are INVERTER models. Lower consumption will in turn improve profitability within our business.
An added advantage within our business is, with the installation of these proposed units, our Guest experience will also be improved as the newer technology is quieter than older models.
