Purpose:
Community Migrant Resource Centre Incorporated will collaborate with Host International Ltd and Driftwood Group Pty Ltd to design and deliver the Career Pathways to Future Success project. The project will be delivered the following sites; Arthur Philip High School, Parramatta and St Bishop College, Mount Druitt, CMRC and HOSTs sites in Parramatta and Top Ryde as well as online delivery.
The project is a multi–focus project aiming to:
1. Support parents from 5 diverse language groups; Dari, Farsi, Arabic, Tamil and Dinka to access career information,
2. Support their children with pathway planning and access to information on future careers and education opportunities,
3. Build capacity of young people as peer leaders in the areas of career coaching and mentoring.
4. Provide interactive digital education and connections to both parents and their children.
5. Support parents and children to connect to industries in demand including STEM and VET pathways.
