Upgrade of Air Conditioning Units
Purpose:
Giant Steps will engage Air Connect Services to remove and replace 2 old air–conditioning systems with two new energy efficient Daikin units with a capacity of 5 kilowatts each. The scope of work will be completed in November, 2021, pending availability of the units and the impact of COVID–19 restrictions to onsite maintenance.
The new air conditioning units will help reduce power bills and energy consumption. As a registered charity and school, Giant Steps constantly strives to keep our running costs as low as possible to ensure maximum funding goes towards direct provision of services for children and adults with autism and their families.
