Purpose:
This project provides a preparation intensive mentoring and support for unemployed people who have the ability and willingness to start a micro business but whose literacy and numeracy levels are too low for them to succeed in the New Enterprise Initiative Scheme (NEIS) without such preparation. The project also provides an approved pathway for unemployed people to transition to employment. (BNYM™s training courses have been approved as an authorised activity for Jobactive agency clients by the Department of Jobs and Small Business).
