Purpose:
Gladstone State High School is sending 4 students to 2018 Conoco Phillips Science Experience in Brisbane where students will complete hands on activities on Forensic and Biological Science, Physics, Mathematics, Astronomy, Environmental Sciences and Engineering. This event will provide students with an opportunity to tour scientific facilities across three Universities (QUT, UQ and Griffith–Nathan), attend presentations from Queensland s leading scientists, participate on variety of activities across multiple fields of STEM and explore science based careers.
