The ConocoPhillips Science Experience
Purpose:
The ConocoPhillips Science Experience at CQUniversity, Townsville. It will comprise two days of rotational workshops comprising Outback Drone Rescue, Geocaching, Robotics, Egg Parachute Design and Business (Idea) Incubation and promotion (again using drones). The third of three days will feature a trip to magical Magnetic Island to explore environmental issues specific to the island. Here participants will be asked to apply all the STEM acumen they possess to help residents and interest groups on the Island promote Magnetic Island as a sustainable Tourism Destination. Areas: Marine science, Environmental Science, Technology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Digital Art, Design & Engineering.
