Drones2Schools
Purpose:
Drones2 will lead a pilot educational program in partnership with Heliwest, introducing school aged youth to drone technology. The program will be run in a classroom environment at East Waikiki Primary School and will be opened up to the Peron North network of 11 primary and high schools. Students with an interest in drone technology will be provided the opportunity to participate in the 6 weeks program, where they will be provided drone equipment, be introduced to drone technology and have the opportunity to create their own drone solutions and missions. Students will learn from drone technology experts, will engage with open source flight program development and engage with commercial aviation pilots experienced in global drone missions.
