Purpose:
Killer T cells are a specialized group of white blood cells which in recent years have been used as a powerful therapeutic option for treating cancer. Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) T cells are engineered T cells which are designed to specifically kill a tumour, and this project aims to generate effective CAR T cell immunotherapy to treat high grade glioma brain tumours in both adults and children.
