The project includes the construction of additional poultry housing and feeding facilities, fit out of an existing building for egg grading, a day-old brooding facility for sustainable replenishment stock, a fodder system for sustainable on-farm feed, a poultry abattoir for value-add processing of retired laying hens (to be opened up to other businesses in the region) and a pastured poultry meat bird operation.
