Purpose:
Loneliness and social isolation are two of the most pressing public health challenges of our society. Our goal is to provide planners with the knowledge and tools to successfully implement acceptable, targeted, equitable and cost-effective strategies for tackling loneliness and social isolation as part of a more holistic approach to chronic disease management in Australia. We will do this via a program of research that involves a diverse team with the consumer and community voice at its core.
