Purpose:

The purpose of the Grant is to provide students with skills and connections to future Vocational Education and Training (VET) pathways providing employment opportunities into the Hospitality industry sector on completion of their education in Shepparton, Victoria. The Grant will directly support industry needs and address skills shortages in the Hospitality industry sectors by providing training in a skill set of five (5) accredited units of competency, an industry insight tour, industry guest speaker presentations and an apprenticeship/traineeship information session to a minimum of eight (8) and a maximum of fifteen (15) students from the Greater Shepparton Secondary School, Shepparton, Victoria.
