Purpose:
J. Furphy & Sons is a family owned and operated company which was established in 1864. It is a unique manufacturing/fabrication enterprise specializing in stainless steel equipment manufacture, based in regional Victoria serving customers right across the country. The project involves purchase and installation of a new laser welding machine that will enable production of pillowplate heat exchange panels for existing and new applications. New applications for the manufacture of panels include supply of value added panels to a Victorian company Raygen which will revolutionize solar thermal technology.
