Installation of solar panels and battery storage system
Purpose:
The project will invest in on–site renewable energy and solar–connected batteries. It involves the supply of a CEC approved new 7.8 kw solar photovoltaic power generation system & battery storage system & their installation by a CEC accredited installer. The project will install 21 x 370W PV solar panels, 1 x Growatt 6.0kw Hybrid Inverter, and 1 x GroWatt 6.5Kwh Battery Pack.
The installation of these systems will result in better outcomes for the community & users, both financially & environmentally. The solar power generation and storage systems will reduce energy use, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, result in carbon abatement and also result in a reduction in power bills. It will offset power consumption both day and night, allow export of energy to offset our network charges and future proof us against any future electricity price increases.
