Walkley Foundation Australia China Media Exchange
Purpose:
Working with the Australian Embassy in Beijing and the All-China Journalists Association the Foundation would invite three Walkley award winning journalists plus a liaison officer to travel to China to meet with Chinese journalists and media organisations, and forge links to facilitate an ongoing dialogue between the two countries. The journalists would also present a series of masterclasses and round tables to allow Chinese journalism students and young professionals to engage with Walkley Award winning journalists.
