Purpose:
Lynwood SHS wishes to enter two student teams (20 students) in the Human Powered Vehicle Associations three Western Australian based racing events in 2022. Known to many as the 'Pedal Prix', this annual series of events is designed to develop competitors' teamwork, technological, enterprise and engineering skills, as well as support fitness and health. Teams collaborate to maintain, test and race pedal powered three wheeled recumbent trikes ? developing an excellent understanding of engineering, mechanics and safety relating to vehicle performance. Key to the success of this program is the strengthening of innovative thinking and problem solving.
