Purpose:
The purpose of the ad hoc grant is to support Australian advanced manufacturing companies to test and develop new automotive aftermarket products by giving them access to high technology tools and equipment, vehicles and data. The grant opportunity has three elements:
1. Support the establishment of an automotive aftermarket innovation laboratory in South Australia
2. Enhance the Victorian automotive laboratory currently being established
3. Establish a shopfront to facilitate South Australian manufacturers? access to the Victorian laboratory
The ad hoc grant is being provided as part of the Automotive Aftermarket Innovation Lab initiative. This initiative provides funding for the establishment of innovation laboratories to support the testing and development of new automotive aftermarket products by Australian advanced manufacturing companies.
