Purpose:
This is a world-first initiative leveraging the Council of Small Business Organisations of Australia Limited (COSBOA) grassroots infrastructure and reputation to change the behaviours of Australias 2.3 million small businesses, Cyber Wardens uplifts small businesses by educating an in-house cyber safety officer to build cultural competencies alongside technical know-how. By bolstering the cyber capabilities of people who work in small businesses with free cyber fit-for-purpose education, we make it easier to prevent cyber attacks. Cyber Wardens are the digital version of first aid officers or fire safety wardens and will be equipped to prevent, prepare, fight and help recover from a cyber attack or the theft of customer data or intellectual property.
