Purpose:
Enable KU Children’s Services to work collaboratively with the Queensland Department of Education and Complex Care (external consultant) to build the capacity and capability of educators to support children with complex and additional needs. This collaborative project will involve 8 ECEC services within the Emerald community to engage in an Inclusion Forum with follow up tailored support, coaching and mentoring sessions. All services engaged with this project are actively engaged with the QLD Inclusion Agency (Inclusion Support Queensland) and have Strategic Inclusion Plans that outline and identify the ongoing barriers to meeting the needs of children with complex needs.
